Craig Ervine-led Zimbabwe beat Bangladesh by 10 runs in the third and final T20 International to win the series 2-1 on Tuesday. At one point, Zimbabwe were struggling at 67/6 in the 13th over, batting first, but Ryan Burle’s quick knock of 54 runs off just 28 balls helped Zimbabwe post a score of 156/8 in 20 overs. Viktor Nyuchi then returned with three wickets as Zimbabwe registered a 10-run win to win the series 2–1.
The momentum was brought towards the hosts in the 15th over of Zimbabwe’s batting innings. Ryan Burle scored 34 runs in this over from Nasum Ahmed, which included five sixes and a four.
Burle hit sixes on the first four balls of the over and then hit a four on the fifth ball. Then, once again off the last ball of the over, he hit the maximum boundary, taking 34 runs in the over.

Chasing 156, Bangladesh needed at least one batsman to stay at the crease for long, but that did not prove to be the case. Afif Hossain scored an unbeaten 39 runs for the visiting team.
Zimbabwe won the first T20I by 17 runs while Bangladesh won the second by 7 wickets. However, in the decider, the hosts held their nerves to seal the competition.
Both the teams will now play a three-match ODI series in Harare starting on August 5.
