The game of cricket has evolved beautifully over the years. While it has taken huge leaps in financial terms and is still growing, the performance of the players is also developing at a great pace. The batting is more innovative and effective now and the bowling too. Fielding, another important part of the game of cricket, is neither behind and has now advanced a lot. What might have been a sensational or lucrative endeavor decades ago is now a routine.

His advanced style of fielding has set a new benchmark for the coming generation of cricketers. Amidst all this, boundary line fielding has made immense headlines for the slowness and presence of mind shown by players while trying to take catches or save boundaries.

In the Pakistan Super League match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators, Zimbabwe star Sikandar Raza made a tremendous effort not to hit the opponent batsman for a six.

Quetta Gladiators’ Will Smead hits Rashid Khan towards deep mid-wicket but Raza’s brilliant effort at the boundary line eludes him for a six.

Check it out here:

Talking about the game, Raza’s 71 not out helped Lahore Qalandars score 148 runs in 19.2 overs. His innings had 8 fours and 3 sixes.

In reply, the Gladiators were restricted to 131 for 7, thanks to Haris Rauf’s 3 for 22.
