Chasing 156, MI reached their target with 34 balls to spare. After taking three wickets, Hayley Matthews completed a fine all-round show with a 38-ball 77, while Nat Sciver-Brunt made a 29-ball 55. Earlier, RCB’s team was all out for 155 runs in 18.4 overs. Electing to bat after winning the toss, RCB got off to a brisk start as the opening pair of skipper Smriti Mandhana and Sophie Devine added 39 runs in 4.2 overs. Sayka Ishaq scored 16 runs in 11 balls. Disha Kasat failed to open her account before Mandhana was sent back by Hayley Mathews for a 17-ball 23, the RCB skipper fell after the restart.
