Battleground Mobile India is ready for pre-registration through the Google Play Store. The game is the Indian version of PUBG Mobile and will follow the same free-to-play Battle Royal formula. Battleground Mobile India has been developed by South Korean video game developer Crafton and will come with India-specific prizes that can be claimed when the game officially launches for pre-registers. As of now, the developer has not shared the release date for the game.
Android users in India can visit the Google Play store to pre-register for Battleground Mobile India, a long-awaited PUBG mobile avatar for India. Ever since PUBG Mobile was banned in the country in September last year along with 117 other apps, Crafton has been working to bring the game back to India in one form or another. Now, finally, it has come with Battleground Mobile India which is essentially PUBG Mobile but with some India specific changes.
By pre-registering for Battleground Mobile India, users will be able to get notifications when the game is officially launched. You can also select the automatic install option that will install the game on your Android device when launched. It will also bring some specific prizes including a Recon Outfit, Recon Mask, in-game currency, and more, as shown in the video posted on the game’s official YouTube channel. At the moment there is no information about pre-registration of iOS but the game will launch on both platforms.
Earlier this month when the game was officially announced, Crafton said that Battleground Mobile India would come with an esports ecosystem that would include tournaments and leagues, as well as special in-game events such as outfits and features. As mentioned earlier, there is no release date yet, but the developer teased a popular 4×4 map from PUBG Mobile – Sanhok last week. However, it cannot be called sunhoek.
Images shared on the Google Play store show in-game locations that PUBG mobile players will be familiar with. He suggests that Erngel and Miramar maps will be present in the game, along with the previously teased Samhok map.
