Battlegrounds Mobile India will be receiving an update that will bring a slew of new features to the popular battle royale game. The 1.6.5 update has been teased by developer Crafton via an Instagram post. Several new features have already rolled out for Battlegrounds Mobile India, while others will be released to players within this month. In addition, Crafton has announced that it has banned more than 81,000 accounts for fraud violations during the week beginning October 1.
Crafton announced the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India update with an Instagram post that said, “Update 1.6.5 is coming this October.” A specific release date was not mentioned, but the accompanying video detailed the update and its many mods.
One of the first features players have already received is Metro Royale: Reunion Mode – made available on 28 September. The new game mode allows players to bring items found during the game into the loadout inventory as loot, provided the players reach the return. point in time.
Players will then be able to use these items in the next match or sell them on the black market for Metro Cash, which will allow players to purchase special items for Metro Royale: Reunion Mode. Battlegrounds Mobile India added the Vikendi map on October 8th. The snow-capped map stretches for 6 km in each direction. Players get to use a snowmobile vehicle and a G36C gun.
Runic Power Mode will be available to players from October 15. Players will have the option to choose between three runs – Arctic, Flame and Wind – on the spawn island. Each rune receives special skills divided under offense and defense. Each skill uses certain rune crystals when used. Arctic Run creates an ice wall for defense and uses cold ammo as an offensive skill. Flame Run gets a magma wheel and scorching ammo as an offensive skill. Lastly, Wind Run lets players build wind shelters to reduce damage caused by enemy bullets, while the Wind Boost skill allows players to reload and increase speed.
Battleground Mobile India will get Survive Till Dawn mode on 22nd October. In it, players must defend against infected zombies in the Erangel map, and there are rewards if players defeat the zombies as well as their bosses.
The Payload 2.0 mode is reportedly scheduled to release on October 31 and in this mode, helicopters and armed cars are armed with powerful weapons like AT4-A laser missiles and M202 Quadruple RPG. Additionally, players will find man-portable radar, bomb suits and UAV control terminals and can be found in Super Weapons crates throughout the map. In addition, players will be able to revive their fallen comrades multiple times from the communication tower with ID cards found in the loot boxes of fallen comrades.
Virus Infection – Halloween Mode will be available from October 31st, and consists of three rounds.
