New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki launched its S-Presso car a few days ago. The new K 10C engine is used in the newly facelifted S Presso, which will deliver 17 percent more mileage than the old engine of this car. Thus, it is already in second place among the most economical cars in the country. The ex-showroom price of this new car has been kept at Rs 4.25 lakh.
Features of Maruti S Presso
The automatic variant of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso can now deliver a mileage of up to 25.30 kmpl. Maruti Suzuki Celerio is currently the most efficient petrol car in India. This affordable hatchback also gets the same naturally aspirated K10C petrol engine and can deliver a mileage of 26.68 kmpl.
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Presso gets a 1.0-litre K-series twin-jet engine, twin VVT, which comes with idle start-stop technology. This engine can generate a power of 65.7 hp. at 5500 RPM and a torque of 89 Nm at 3500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and AMT (AGS). Apart from the updated powertrain, the S-Presso also gets some new features.
The new Maruti Suzuki S-Presso gets safety features like Hill Hold Assist with ESP on all AGS variants and electrically adjustable ORVMs (Outer Rear View Mirrors) on the top VXi+ / VXi+ (O) variants. It is available in four trim levels – Standard, LXi, VXi and VXi+. There are 6 variants priced from Rs 4.25 lakh to Rs 5.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
