Moto G82 launches with Snapdragon 695;  But is the price right?

Motorola launched its budget smartphone e32s (E32s) in India just last with a premium design at a price of just Rs.8999. And the company is back with a new mid-range smartphone in the G-series. The name of this smartphone is Moto G82 5G which will be available in India with a starting price of Rs 21,499.

Moto G82 5G Prices and Availability

You can buy the Moto G82 5G in India in two storage options from Flipkart and Reliance Digital. The phone will be available in Lily White and Meteorite Gray color variants.

  • 6GB+128GB – Rs 21,499.
  • 8GB+128GB – Rs 22,999.

You will get a cashback of Rs 1,500 on both models, after which the prices will be Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,499 when purchased using an SBI credit card.

The sale of the phone will start from June 14.

Motorola G82 5G Specifications

The Moto G82 features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also has 10-bit color support and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. In the middle of the screen, you’ll see a punch-hole cutout that houses the 16MP front-facing camera.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The phone runs on the latest version of Android 12, but the company has only promised security updates for up to 1 year of software updates here. However, there should be at least 2 software updates here.

Apart from that, it also has a 5000mAh battery and will be available here with 30W fast charging. Although the Poco X4 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G, which come with the same chipset, have 67W fast charging support, their prices are lower than the Moto G82.

The smartphone also features triple rear cameras like almost every mid-range phone, which includes 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro cameras along with a 50MP main camera. Although here it is good to get the phone with an IP52 rating, which means it is water and dust resistant to some extent.

Along with this, the company also claims that it is the thinnest phone in its price range ie. thin and light. The thickness of the phone is 7.99 mm and the weight is 173 grams.
