OnePlus unveils its first foldable smartphone, which could be released this year: report

OnePlus will soon launch its OnePlus 11 5G and OnePlus 11R 5G smartphones. Along with smartphones, OnePlus will also launch a number of new devices this year, such as the OnePlus Keyboard and the OnePlus Pad. Most recently, tipster Mukul Sharma teased about the OnePlus foldable smartphone. According to tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), OnePlus will soon launch a (horizontal) foldable smartphone and a clamshell foldable smartphone.

OnePlus foldable smartphone launch
Tipster Mukul Sharma claims that OnePlus plans to launch OnePlus foldables this year, apart from smartphones, tablets and other devices. He also revealed that the brand may launch horizontally foldable and vertically foldable smartphones in the future. Before OnePlus, Oppo also launched its first foldable smartphone.
To prove his point, the tipster also posted a picture of the trademark. The picture suggests that OnePlus may name its foldable smartphone as OnePlus V Fold and OnePlus V Fold. Some reports have also revealed that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor could be included in both the devices. For now, however, we cannot say unequivocally about this. Also, one thing we are sure about is that the OnePlus foldable smartphone will give a tough competition to other options in the market including Oppo Find N series, Samsung Galaxy Z series, Vivo X Fold series, etc.
OnePlus will launch many of its devices on the upcoming February 7. So far, we have not received any information regarding the launch of the OnePlus Fold smartphone. We can definitely expect the launch of OnePlus V fold and OnePlus V flip this year.
