POCO has launched yet another C-series smartphone – POCO C55 in the Indian market. This latest C-series smartphone from POCO is a rebranded Redmi 12C smartphone. POCO C55 is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 processor. Up to 6GB RAM is provided in the phone. The smartphone is equipped with a large display with HD+ resolution and a 5000mAh battery.

POCO C55 has a 50MP main rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. Other highlights of the latest C-series smartphone include 10W charging support and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Let’s take a closer look at the POCO C55 India price, availability, specifications and features.

POCO C55 price and availability

The POCO C55 price in India is Rs 11,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The POCO C55 will go on sale on February 28 exclusively through Flipkart.

POCO will offer an instant discount of Rs 500 on the base variant of the device. Along with this, POCO will also provide an additional discount of Rs 500 on HDFC, SBI and ICICI credit and debit cards.

POCO C55 Specifications

The brand new POCO C55 features a 6.71-inch HD+ display. It has a 60Hz refresh rate and Panda Glass protection with a 120Hz touch sample rate. The pixel resolution of the display is 1650×720. The phone features a MediaTek Helio G85 processor that includes a Mali G52 GPU. It comes with up to 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone runs MIUI 13 but is based on Android 12.

Talking about the optics, the POCO C55 is equipped with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture. With this, a 2MP depth sensor is available in the phone. The smartphone has a 5MP front camera.

The latest C-series smartphone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery. It supports 10W charging through the same Micro-USB port as the POCO C50. The phone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The handset also has a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also has an IP52 rating, making it resistant to splashes of water.

The POCO C55 will be available for purchase in three color variants – Power Black, Forest Green and Cool Blue. It weighs 192 grams and measures 168.76×76.41×8.77 mm. Connectivity options on the device include dual SIM, 4G, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and GLONASS.
