PUBG: New state announced with Android, iOS pre-registration; Trailer Show Gameplay, New Mechanics

PUBG: The new state has been announced and is up for pre-registration on Google Play and the App Store. The developer of the game, PUBG Studio, has shared a trailer for PUBG: New State and a dedicated website has also been set up for the same. The trailer showcases some of the gameplay, graphics, and some new mechanics that will be present in the game. PUBG: The new state has been established in the year 2051 and has brought new vehicles, weapons, new maps and more. The game is being published by Krafton, a South Korean video game holding company.

According to the official website, PUBG: The new state is for pre-registration on Google Play, but it seems that there is no option to do so on Indian stores yet. The game will also be available for pre-order through the App Store but it will be coming soon. The website states that the skin of a permanent limited vehicle will be offered to those who pre-order for the game. In addition to the new website and Google Play listings, the developers have also shared a trailer that reveals some of the gameplay and mechanics of PUBG: New State. The game is set in 2051 which is in line with recent leaks and you can watch the trailer below.

The trailer featured a familiar battle royale setting to drop players into ‘Troi’, possibly the name of the map. There are modern weapons and modern vehicles, as well as some gadgets that will enhance the gameplay. This advances the essence of PUBG Mobile so that players have no problem using PUBG: New State.

So far, PUBG Studios has not shared an exact release date for the game, but a recent leak suggested it may launch early next week. Additional details can be expected in the coming days.

PUBG Mobile was banned by the government in India in September 2020 due to Chinese company Tencent’s involvement with the game. There were attempts by Crafton to bring the game back to the country but nothing worked. Now, whether PUBG: new state will be released or not, it remains to be seen.
