Rimac delivers F1 driver Nico Rosberg’s first Nevera Hypercar, everything special about it, read…

Croatian electric hypercar maker Rimac has delivered its first production Navera to a customer. The special thing is that the first customer who will take Navera is not just anyone, but the famous German-Finnish former Formula 1 driver Nico Rosberg. In the video uploaded to Rosberg’s YouTube channel, it can be seen that apart from the shiny alloy wheels, the rest of the parts are blacked out. It goes by the name #001. Technically speaking, Navera’s earlier production model was called #000, which was finished in Kalisto Green exterior paint. He would continue to own the Bugatti Rimac as a demonstration and marketing car.

According to information received earlier, Rimac intends to produce a total of 150 Naveras, and all of them have been sold. Each car will be tested before their final delivery and company founder Mate Rimac will sign off. Let us tell you that their price starts from 2 million euros (16 crores 20 lakhs 5 thousand rupees). Rimac has now indicated that it will produce 50 pieces of the handcrafted Navera each year.

The Rimac Navera gets its power from a quad electric motor setup. This engine generates 1427 kW of power and 2360 Nm of torque. It is connected to a 120kWh lithium-manganese-nickel battery that was designed in-house by Rimac. It is located along the central tunnel of the car. The Croatian company claims that the Navera accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in an instant, i.e. in 1.85 seconds. Its maximum speed is 412 km/h. It is even claimed that according to WLTP tests, the Navera’s range is 547 km.

During the YouTube video, Mate Rimac said that the Navera has 14 cameras around it, allowing it to record footage without a GoProj mounting it. Footage can be viewed and downloaded from a companion phone app. Rimac said the company is still working on an autonomous driving feature on a track, which will appear in a future software update. The feature is currently under development. Bugatti CEO Rimac said about Bugatti’s next hypercar that it will have a very interesting internal combustion engine and will be highly electrified. Chiron’s success will be like you never imagined. There is speculation that it could be similar to the Mercedes AMG.
