Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ may come with more rounded edges on Galaxy S21 lineup, ultra-thin bezels

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series comes with ultra-thin bezels and more rounded edges than the Galaxy S21 model, a tipster has suggested by showing off the alleged tempered glass protectors of the next-generation Samsung flagships. The new series, which is speculated to be the regular Samsung Galaxy S22 along with the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra, could feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC. The Galaxy S22 Ultra in the lineup is also reported to have a new camera design and S Pen support.

Tipster Ice Universe tweeted Some images showing the alleged tempered glass screen protectors of the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ with the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+. The images reveal that the new phones will come with more rounded edges on the Galaxy S21 model.

It appears that Samsung offers a wider display area than the earlier Galaxy flagships. Additionally, the tipster suggests the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ Include 19.5:9 aspect ratioWhereas Galaxy S22 Ultra can come with 19.3: 9 aspect ratio.

Photos of the tempered glass protectors also suggest that Samsung will opt for similar bezels around the display – a move similar to Apple’s.

Samsung is yet to confirm the development of the Galaxy S22 model. However, the rumor mill has suggested that the new flagships are currently in the works and will be launched in February next year. The Galaxy S22 series is reported to have 25W fast charging and Snapdragon 898 SoC. Samsung may also offer S Pen integration with the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
