Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ have been spotted on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website, ahead of the rumored launch of the smartphone next year. The handset is expected to launch as part of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, which will be launched in February, followed by the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone, which is expected to launch in January. The FCC website also mentions a foldable LED view cover, which may feature NFC connectivity. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S22+ could have ultra-wideband connectivity in addition to 5G and Wi-Fi 6 support.

According to a report by MySmartPrice, both the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ have been listed on the FCC website. The listing provides some details of the connectivity specifications and battery capacity of the smartphone. The smartphone is expected to launch on February 8, but Samsung is yet to formally announce any details of the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ smartphones.

According to the report, the model number of Samsung Galaxy S22 in the FCC listing is SM-S901U. According to the report, the smartphone will offer 5G and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity along with Bluetooth and NFC support. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S22+ has model number SM-S906U, and could have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth NFC, and UWB connectivity. The Galaxy S22+ could also pack a 4,370mAh battery with 25W charging support. The FCC listing for the LED View Cover suggests that it could come with support for NFC-related functionality and could sport a foldable design.

Although the FCC listing does not mention other specifications such as processor and camera specifications, these have been mentioned in previous reports. As per earlier reports, the smartphone could feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, with an Exynos variant for the US. According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ could feature full-HD+ displays, which measure 6.06-inches and 6.55-inches respectively.
