Teaser Released: Mahindra’s ‘Born Electric Vision’ SUVs Secrets Revealed, People Have Been Waiting For A Long Time, Get Ready To Book



Mahindra and Mahindra released a new teaser video that showcased the ‘Born Electric Vision’ SUV. In the process, it confirms several features such as climate control, ambient light efficiency, power seats, and more. The next generation of the SUV will be unveiled at their state-of-the-art design studio in Oxfordshire on August 15.
The teaser video below shows the graphics that will be displayed on the dual-screen infotainment section of the upcoming SUV’s dashboard. Talking about the designs, in a teaser video earlier, Cosimo Amadei, Design Director, MADE (Mahindra Advanced Design Europe) said, “We build an original design with a design philosophy born from a racing spirit. it will be a challenge.”

Mahindra initially showcased three Bourne Electric Vision SUVs, five of which have been named. Three of the SUVs will get a coupe body, while two will have a traditional design with a straight rear door. Mahindra had earlier released teaser videos of all the five SUVs giving us a look at the exterior and interior. Both the front and rear boast different sized LED DRLs and taillights. Also, the cabin gets a minimalist design, as well as a panoramic sunroof and a large dual screen on the dashboard, which serves as both an instrument and infotainment console.

The Bourne Electric VisionSUV uses the distinctive C-shaped taillights. It was also reported that the “Born Electric Vision” SUV will share components from Volkswagen’s MEB platform. Elements such as the electric motor, battery and battery component system will be shared. This will not only reduce production costs, but also speed up the production process.

Production will begin in 2025

Based on the ‘Born Electric Vision’, this SUV will be ready for production by 2025. But before that, Mahindra is all set to launch the XUV400, an electric version of the XUV300. The compact SUV will be based on the same platform that underpins its ICE counterpart. It will be available in India at a price of Rs 15 lakh.
