Gareth Bell’s agent is in talks with Tottenham about a deal that would lead Real Madrid to a return to their former club. The bale is thrown out by the real manager Zinedine Zidane And the Wales star said earlier this month that he was open to joining the Premier League. In England, it was reported that Tottenham and Manchester United were interested in signing Bale. Now Tottenham have discussed with Bell representatives about a possible move, likely to be a loan but with a permanent deal not ruled out at this stage.
“Gareth still loves Spurs,” Bell’s agent Jonathan Barnett told BBC Sport Wales on Tuesday.
“We’re talking. This is where he wants to go.”
Bell has two years on a contract that pays him around £ 600,000 per week at Real.
It has been reported that the Spanish club will be willing to pay some of that salary to move on from their troubled relationship.
Bell left Tottenham for Real in 2013 for a world record fee of 85 million pounds (USD 109 million).
The 31-year-old has won four Champions League titles and two La Liga crowns during his time in Spain, but his turbulent relationship with Zidane has deported him for much of last year.
He made just one match when he resumed after the Coronovirus heats last season as Real won their first La Liga title since 2017.
Bell has an emotional attachment to Tottenham at the age of 17 after joining the club from Southampton and developing into one of the world’s most exciting forrests.
After Losing their opening game of the Premier League season against Everton On Sunday, Tottenham could do with the morale-boost that would come from signing Bale.
Jose Mourinho accused his Tottenham players of “lazy pressing” during the Everton game and is believed to be willing to move his squad with many more signs.
As well as his interest in Bale, Tottenham are reported to have a conversation with left-back Sergio Reguellon about the real one, while Eintracht Frankfurt as a possible signing to provide back-up to Harry Kane Striker Bass Dude is robbed.
Mourinho has signed Matt Doherty, Pierre-िलेmile Höjbjerg and Joe Hart since the end of last season.
