13 special trains, 200 more buses will pass through UP… Railways and roads make Holi passengers happy

Ghaziabad: Railways has announced 13 special trains to return home to celebrate the Holi holiday. However, residents of Ghaziabad will have to run to Delhi to travel on these trains. Only one of these trains will stop in Ghaziabad. Almost all trains to eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are fully booked for Holi. From now on, the journey will only be easy thanks to these special trains. Of these, 11 trains will depart from Anand Vihar, one from Old Delhi and one from New Delhi. Most special trains go to Bihar.

All trains heading to Bihar pass through Ghaziabad station. This time, out of the special Holi trains announced by the railways so far, only one special Holi train from Anand Vihar to Udhampur has been stopped at Ghaziabad station. Ghaziabad has no stop for any eastbound trains while a large number of people from Bihar and eastern UP live in Ghaziabad, Noida. All prefer Ghaziabad station to return home. From now on, passengers will have to go to Anand Vihar to take the special Holi trains.

220 additional buses will run
At the same time, in addition to trains, additional buses have also been introduced. Roadways ARM Shiv Balak informed that 200 additional buses will run during Holi. If necessary, other additional buses will run. At present, around 600 buses connect Kaushambi depot to different areas, which will increase to over 800 at the time of Holi. Given the rush of passengers at the Kaushambi depot on Holi, new regional manager Kesari Nandan Choudhary ordered all officers to have faulty buses repaired until a week before Holi. So that people returning home on the occasion of Holi do not have problems on the buses. Along with this, orders were also issued to increase the number of buses. During Holi, 35,000 to 45,000 passengers travel daily by bus.
