If the government dreams of it, then it should see the NITI Aayog Sustainable Development Goals report to see what the status of UP is in it. Citing NITI Aayog’s 2020-21 report, he said that in the list of 28 states below the poverty line, UP is fourth from the bottom. UP ranks fifth in ending famine. He is second from bottom in good health and 18th in quality education.

So far, farmers’ income has not doubled

Targeting the government with numbers, Akhilesh said, “The government must understand the socialist principle. Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas or Ram Rajya is not possible without socialism. Describing the 2023-24 budget as directionless, Yadav said there is no solution to the problems of the present or a way forward. He said the dual engine government had promised that farmers’ income would be doubled, but no future of this promise has yet been seen.
