In Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi, the 30-year-old has no human friend but the stork, the state bird of the state. In fact, this young man named Arif had helped the injured stork. After that, the stork accepted him as everything. The stork has been living with Arif for almost a year. Wherever Arif goes, Saras maintains a friendship with him by being his charioteer. Anyone who sees the friendship between Arif and Saras, he sets an example of human-to-human and voiceless friendship.
Reportedly, Arif, a resident of Mandka village in Jamo development block of Amethi district, lives as a friend of the national stork of Uttar Pradesh. In August 2022, the injured stork was fighting the battle of life and death. In such a difficult time, Arif saved the life of a stork and awakened a unique love for him in the bird’s mind. For almost a year now, the state’s national stork has lived in harmony with Arif and his family.

The stork bird stays with Arif all the time
The peculiarity is that in addition to living in Arif’s house, this stork follows him like a shadow. Wherever Arif goes, he goes with him. Whether Arif goes on foot or by bike, Saras stays everywhere with Arif as his companion. The stork bird has bonded with Arif.
Arif is survived by his wife, two children and parents. All caress the stork bird like a member of their family.
Arif helped save the life of the injured stork
Arif told News18 Local that the stork’s leg was broken. I found him lying injured in the field. After that, I cared for and fed him after bringing him home. Since then, this stork considers me his true friend and only stays with me. We wanted this bird to return to its parents in the sky. But it hasn’t gone away. Our friendship is so deep that wherever we go, it accompanies me. Then come home with us.
He said it was completely free. There are no restrictions of any kind on this. After flying in the sky, it returns home at the end of the day. We have developed an attachment to this stork as a member of the family.
