Amla murabba is also made a lot and people like it very much. How many medicinal properties there are in Amla, you can guess from the fact that this fruit has been mentioned a lot in Ayurveda. It improves eyesight, aids digestion, controls diabetes, maintains good blood circulation, is beneficial in inflammatory diseases and helps turn hair black.

The government gives a huge discount
District Horticulture Officer Anita Singh said if the farmer cultivates wisely, his income can easily be doubled. Horticulture and vegetable growing are very helpful in increasing farmers’ income. Currently, a program is run by the government of Uttar Pradesh and the Department of Horticulture to promote the cultivation of Amla. Under which a rebate of Rs 18,000 per hectare is granted to farmers. The department has this time achieved the objective of 3 hectares.

Applications were solicited by the Department of Horticulture from farmers interested in growing Amla. Interested farmers can apply by visiting the Bhai Department of Horticulture website. For application, banks enclose a passbook, aadhar card and two photo keys. Program benefit will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Know important things about Amla culture
After transplanting gooseberry, its plant begins to bear fruit in 4-5 years. After 8 to 9 years, a tree gives on average 1 quintal of fruit per year. It sells for around 15 to 20 rupees per kg. That is, every year the farmer earns 1500 to 2000 rupees from a tree. About 200 plants can be planted on one hectare. This way you can earn Rs 3-4 lakh from one hectare in a year. At the same time, once the gooseberry plant is planted, it can produce for a long time. At the same time, intercropping (other cropping) can also be done with amla cultivation.
