Letter from Atiq’s wife to CM
Shaista Parveen, wife of former MP Bahubali Atiq Ahmed, sent a letter to CM Yogi Adityanath and Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court regarding the demolition of the house. It was said in the letter that his rented house was illegally demolished and that weapons were kept in the house in a fake manner. A UP cabinet minister associated with Prayagraj and his wife were also charged with conspiracy. In the letter, a request was made by the CM and the Chief Justice to conduct a judicial or magistrate’s inquiry into the matter. There is also an allegation of having removed Rs 1.5 lakh cash and Rs 7 lakh jewelry from the house. Shaista Parveen also filed a complaint on the CM portal.
