Ayodhya: The route diversion will take place from July 23 to 26 using Kanwar Yatra, see the full plan

The route deviation will be applicable on heavy vehicles, thousands of worshipers are expected to come.

Ayodhya. A huge crowd of Kanwariyas is expected to reach the city from July 23 to 26 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, the administration completely banned the entry of heavy vehicles on the Lucknow-Ayodhya trunk road from 4 a.m. from July 23 to 26. During this time, two lanes will be secured for the Kanwariyas. These two lanes will be reserved for essential installations. In view of the congestion situation, small vehicles will be allowed to circulate, for which a route diversion has been prepared.

In fact, hundreds of thousands of Kanwariyas come from Basti, Azamgarh, Ambedkar Nagar, Sultanupar, Barabanki and other districts to take water from the Saryu River in Ayodhya on the Trayodashi of Krishna Paksha and Sawan Shivratri in Sawan. Their arrival will begin from July 23 itself. It is believed that on July 25-26, Sawan Shivratri, there will be a camp of lakhs of Kanwariyas at Ramnagari. In this regard, the police have developed a solid security plan. Under this, the route diversion table has also been prepared.

The roadmap will stay like this
Jurisdictional Ayodhya Rajesh Tiwari said the route diversion plan has been implemented in view of the Kanwar Yatra at Sawan Mela. Under this, vehicles going from Lucknow to Gorakhpur will go from Barabanki to Gonda Jarwal via Basti Gorakhpur. Vehicles from Basti Gorakhpur will head towards Lucknow via Barabanki Gonda. Also, the vehicles which have to go from Gorakhpur to Sultanpur, will depart from Basti via Tanda Ambedkar Nagar towards Sultanpur by Purvanchal Express.

Route diversion even in the city
Traffic diversion has been fully realized in Ayodhya district and also in the city. There will be a ban on driving any type of vehicle from Lakarmandi Udaya intersection, Gupta Hotel Booth No. 4 to Saket Gas Pump in Katra Bazar, Gonda. Vehicles carrying Kanwar Yatra will come from the Saket gas station on the western hybrid lane to Naya Ghat, where vehicles from Kanwariyas can be parked at the designated parking spot.

The bypass will be executed on 2 lanes and a land has been fully reserved for Kavad Yatra. Special discounts have been granted for school vehicles and schoolchildren. Also, people living inside Ayodhya will be allowed to enter by showing their local ID.
