A two-and-a-half-year-old girl was playing near her house in the village of Bandia located at CBganj police station in Bareilly late on Tuesday evening when dogs attacked her. They dragged him for 100 meters while pulling and scratching him. People somehow saved the girl from the pack of dogs. When a neighborhood youth attempted to rescue, the dogs also attempted to attack the youth. The people around kind of chased the dogs away. The girl died during treatment.

The two-and-a-half-year-old daughter of Awadhesh Gangwar, Pari, of Awadhesh Gangwar, who lives near the Bandia Canal in Bareilly, was playing outside the house late on Tuesday evening. At that time, the family did not know that the girl had left home some distance away. About 15-20 dogs targeted the girl and attacked her in the forest some distance from the house. The girl fell to the ground, after which the dogs began to scratch her.

Hastily, family members took the girl to the hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead. The child’s father, Awadhesh, works as a labourer. Inspector CBganj Ashok Kumar Kamboj said the matter is under investigation.
