Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made a big announcement to implement the resolution taken in the Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra regarding employment in the assembly elections. He said work is assured to connect at least one member of each family with government employment or state employment. For this, a skills mapping campaign of all members of all families will start in the state. After skills mapping, disadvantaged people will be linked to employment or self-employment by providing training as needed. The resolution of the government is that no family in the state will be deprived of employment.

CM Yogi was addressing a large job fair and employee trainee appointment letter distribution function held at the campus of Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology on Wednesday. In this program organized under the joint umbrella of Uttar Pradesh Skills Development Mission, Regional Employment Office and Government ITI, the Chief Minister said that during skills mapping, it would be checked how many family members are tied to jobs or taking advantage of government schemes and doing jobs. The data of those who are deprived of it will be prepared. Once the data is available, at least one of their members will be offered jobs and jobs by connecting the remaining families to a special program.

Dual engine government recognizing energy and talent
The Chief Minister said that after taking the helm of the country in 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched several programs to recognize the energy and skills of young people, entrepreneurs, artisans and artisans. With the establishment of programs like Skill India, Startup, Standup, Make in India, Mudra, etc., young people felt for the first time that the government was thinking of them too. With the arrival of the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh in 2017, the dual-engine government rapidly increased Center and State employment-oriented schemes.

Unemployment rate decreased by 16% in UP despite the challenge of the Corona period
CM Yogi said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the state government has given government jobs to 5 lakh youths in the past 5 years. 1.61 million young people have been linked to employment in MSMEs and enterprises. Subsidized loans from banks were given to 60 lakh artisans and artisans for self-employment. The result of all this is in front of the whole country. In 2015-2016, the unemployment rate in UP was above 18%. Despite the challenge of the Corona period, when 40 lakh of migrant workers and workers returned to UP, the unemployment rate dropped from about 16% to just 2.7%. In this achievement, as well as the efforts of the government, the energy and skills of young people, entrepreneurs and artisans have contributed significantly.

UP takes major steps toward $1 trillion economy
The Chief Minister said the Prime Minister’s intention is to grow the country’s economy to $5 trillion. To contribute to this goal, Uttar Pradesh decided to grow its economy to $1 trillion. We have also made rapid progress in this direction thanks to the strength of entrepreneurs, artisans, young people. In 2016, the economy of Uttar Pradesh was ranked sixth in the country, today it ranks second in the country. Over the past 5 years, per capita income and GDP have doubled in Uttar Pradesh.

The government is leading the way to economic independence
CM Yogi said that the dual engine government, working swiftly in all areas, is showing the way to economic self-reliance for everyone. Along with many of the Centre’s programs, youths, craftsmen and artisans are progressing on the path to self-reliance in the state by joining Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana, One District One Product Scheme, Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana.
