Computer raids on 66 Uflex Group sites including Delhi, Mumbai and Noida NCR, tax evasion allegation

The Income Tax Department team started raiding the Uflex packaging company in Noida around 6am on Tuesday morning. This company is located in sectors 4 and 60 in Noida. Apart from this, raids are being carried out at 66 Uflex Group locations across the country. This raid was made on the information of misappropriation of crores of rupees.

Manish Singh, Noida: The Department of Income Tax team raided 66 Uflex Packaging Company locations across the country simultaneously at around 6 a.m. Tuesday morning. Raids are being carried out in 29 locations in Noida and Greater Noida. Apart from this, raids are also carried out in other places including Delhi, Gujarat, MP, Tamil Nadu and Mumbai. It is said that the Income Tax Department has received information that this company has committed tax evasion of several million rupees. After which, officials from the Income Tax Department began monitoring the account of this company. In this sequence, the raid was carried out on Tuesday morning.

According to sources, Income Tax Service teams are simultaneously raiding Uflex Group premises across the country around 6am on Tuesday. During which a raid was carried out in the office of Uflex Packaging Company located in sectors 4 and 60 of Noida. Half a dozen teams from the Income Tax Department carry out research operations in this company. Companies in which searches are carried out, no person from the accounting department of this company is authorized to travel. Company information and account information is pulled from their cell phones and laptops.

This company is said to have committed tax evasion of several million rupees. After which the Income Tax Directorate conducts a search operation to extract information related to tax evasion. The search operation is ongoing in 29 locations in Noida and Greater Noida. This research unit is from Noida. According to sources in the tax department, the investigation is still ongoing. This action will continue for the next four days. Further action will be taken based on an investigation.
