The youth raped the girl and then took her to a secluded place, where her friends also tried to rape her. When the girl protested, she videotaped her and beat her. Threatened to make the video go viral by complaining about the affair. The girl informed her father of the incident after arriving home. Police filed a report against the accused in other sections including Rape, POCSO, Assault and Intimidation.

According to the police, the accused will soon be arrested. Naubasta ACP Abhishek Pandey said that on the complaint of the father, a report was filed against the accused and Inspector Barra was instructed to take strict action. There are more than a dozen hookah bars operating on behalf of food cafes in the city. Hookah bar operators offer booths to teenage girls from wealthy families in the name of privacy. The ACP said a campaign would be launched against hookah bars.
