Prayagraj: A hearing was held on Monday at the Allahabad High Court in the notorious Usri Chatti case of Ghazipur involving former mafia deputies Mukhtar Ansari and Brijesh Singh. After almost 22 years, the Bench Division of the High Court has heard the FIR registration case against Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari and many others. Besides Mukhtar Ansari, the High Court stayed the arrest of three other defendants who filed the petition. The court also requested a response from the UP government in this regard. The next hearing in the case will be on March 13. The hearing was held at the divisional bench of Judge KJ Thakar and Judge Ajit Singh.

While hearing the case, the Allahabad High Court suspended the arrest until the next hearing. The court called the government’s response UP in this whole matter. The High Court gave the UP government 4 weeks to file its response. The next hearing in this case will take place on March 13.

The petition was filed on behalf of Gaus Ansari and two others who were charged with Mukhtar Ansari in Usri Chatti Kanu. In this petition, a request was made to cancel the registered FIR after 22 years. This FIR was hosted by the family members of Manoj Kumar Rai from the Brijesh Singh camp.

Meanwhile, in this case, Mukhtar Ansari filed a lawsuit against Brijesh Singh immediately after the incident. Two close friends of Mukhtar Ansari were also killed in this attack. The person who filed the FIR on behalf of Brijesh Singh camp said he did not file the case due to fear of Mukhtar Ansari. With that, the court asked how the fear finally ended. Bahubali Mukhtar Ansari stayed away from this petition.
