Lucknow: After Yogi government is formed again in Uttar Pradesh, big decisions are made one after another. Yogi government decided to implement MTET (Madrasa Teacher Eligibility Test) modeled on TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) to improve the madrasa education system. After its introduction, only candidates who have passed the MTET will be able to become teachers in madrasas.

Speaking to NBT Online on the matter, the Yogi Government’s Minister of State for Minority Welfare, Dane Azad Ansari, said that the Yogi Government is continuously working on the ground to ensure that the quality of the education in the madrassa was good. How the Madrasas have been modernized. Today, the madrasa child is involved in modern education alongside dini education. He said that we are striving to improve the education of madrasas. Danish Minister Azad said preparations were underway. Soon it will also be implemented. At the same time, he also said that the balance will be kept from both humble and modern education.

It is said that until now only those who teach in madrasas become teachers, but after the implementation of this Yogi government decision, it will stop and applicants have to pass the MTET to become a madarsa teacher. According to the information, this exam will be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Teacher Council. At the same time, after its implementation, more attention will be given to subjects such as Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. There are 558 funded madrasas in the state. For this, a phased recruitment of 6,455 teachers teaching modern subjects will also be carried out. Aaliya level madrassas will have a teacher. At the same time, there will be 4 teachers in the madrasas up to class 5. Similarly, 2 teachers in classes 6 to 8 and 3 teachers in madrasas of level 9 and 10 will be recruited to teach modern education.

In order to improve madarsa education, the UP government also launched the UP Madarsa E-Learning mobile application a few days ago. Thanks to this, children will be able to study using a mobile apart from the traditional way. The purpose of launching the app is to connect children associated with the madrasa with digital education and provide necessary facilities. On this app, students will also be able to attend evening classes and study any class as per their convenience.
