Prayagraj: The party took major action after the name of the BJP leader’s brother surfaced in the murder case of Umesh Pal in Prayagraj. The party’s metropolitan unit dismissed Rahil Hasan, chairman of the minority cell. Not only that, the metropolitan unit of the minority cell was disbanded. However, the BJP claims that the minority cell was dissolved even before the Umesh Pal murder case. In fact, Umesh Pal, who was a witness in the murder case of former MLA Raju Pal, was shot dead in broad daylight. In this case, Mohammad Ghulam, brother of BJP leader Rahil Hasan, has been named as a defendant.
Since then, Ghulam has been on the run. After the name of the BJP leader’s brother surfaced in the Umesh Pal murder case, the party came under fire on social media. After that, Prayagraj Metropolitan BJP Chairman Ganesh Kesarwani, acting, not only removed Rahil Hasan from his post but also dissolved the minority cell. However, he also claimed that it was done before Umesh Pal was murdered.
