Naida: There is relief news for farmers. The amount of farmer compensation filed in court will now be remitted to ADM LA and from there it will be distributed. At the initiative of Ritu Maheshwari, CEO of Greno Authority, the big hurdle in compensating farmers and settling people’s retroactive lease cases has now been lifted.
Instead of taking the land from the farmers, the Authority deposits the compensation amount with the ADM LA Authority, from there it is distributed to the farmers. After acquiring the land, the farmers did not receive their compensation due to certain reasons. In view of this, the amount of compensation was filed in court by the ADM. The court ordered the compensation amount to be distributed by ADM LA, but the district administration sought advice from the government in this regard. For this reason, the compensation was not distributed. For this reason, along with land acquisition, the 6% population and sale-leaseback cases were also not dealt with. For sale-leaseback, farmers must return the compensation money to the authority.
Village wise schedule for lease hearing
The Greater Noida Authority has released a timetable to settle cases of village population regulation. On February 15, the cases of Itehra village could not be heard. This hearing will take place on April 26. Similarly, the hearing on the sale-leaseback cases of the village of Ghodi-Bachheda was postponed to May 3 due to Holi on March 8.
