Gaurav Rathore, Kanpur Dehat: The ongoing debate between father and son for several days on the division of property sadly ended on Tuesday. Enraged, the father shot the son with his licensed double-barreled gun. This incident happened during the festival, there was chaos in the house. Informed of the incident, the SP went to the scene with the police. The police recovered the licensed weapon. The accused father is on the run. The incident concerns the Jyoti Saraiya village of Shivli Kotwali.

Raghupal alias Monu (35), the eldest son of farmer Devendra, a resident of Jyoti Saraiya village, was claiming his share in his father’s property. The father opposed it. There was a fight between the two for several months. There was often debate about this. Also on Monday evening, a debate ensued between the two on the same subject. With that, Devendra pulled out her licensed double-barreled weapon. As soon as the son opened his chest and said to shoot, the father fired. The bullet hit the son’s chest and he died. This incident caused chaos among the family members.

The deceased’s wife accused the stepfather of murder

Hearing the sound of gunshots, people around reached the place and saw that the body of Raghupal alias Monu was lying on the ground soaked in blood. SP BBGTS Murthy, ASP Ghanshyam Chaurasia arrived at the scene after receiving information about the incident. Raghupal’s wife Radha told the SP that father-in-law Devendra does not want to give away a share of the property and there is a dispute over it. She killed her husband. The police began searching for the fugitive Devendra. While hugging the corpse, Raghupal’s wife Radha, son Shiva, daughters Anshika and Mahi kept crying. This incident on the festival created chaos in the family. The mother and younger brother of the deceased also continued to get upset.

The murderer’s father fled after throwing the gun into the field.

After killing the son, Devendra fled with the gun. When they got there, the police started looking for him. The police suspected that he was hiding somewhere in the nearby fields. During this search, Devendra’s licensed weapon was found in the field. The police seized the weapon. ASP Ghanshyam Chaurasia said the issue of the murder of the son in a property dispute comes to mind. The weapon used in the incident has been taken into custody. Measures will be taken in this matter in accordance with the rules.
