Pilibhit: Useful news has come to the fore for those traveling from Lucknow to Uttarakhand. Now all vehicles will soon get rid of the hassle of traffic jams passing through the city. The Khatima bypass, suspended for years, is expected to start in April. In fact, until now, vehicles traveling from Lucknow to Khatima Tanakpur and other parts of Uttarakhand have to pass through the city itself. In such a situation, many times a long traffic jam is also observed on this road. Keeping this in mind, the construction of the bypass was approved by the government in 2019.
Almost all construction work on the bypass has been completed. But for a long time there was a problem regarding the NOC between the Railway Forest Department regarding the railway viaduct. Because of which the work on the overbridge was suspended. After several rounds of meetings, this obstacle was removed a few months ago. After which the construction work on the upper deck was accelerated. Now, Setu Nigam officials expect its construction work to be completed by the last week of March. In such a situation, the circulation of vehicles will be started on this ring road from the month of April.

Giving information, Deputy Project Manager of Setu Nigam Vijendra Maurya said instructions have been given to complete the construction works at the earliest. Vehicle traffic on the bypass is expected to start from April.
