Prime Minister Modi gave Yogi wonderful business idea to ‘climb the fort’ on Bundelkhand highway
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the 296 km long Bundelkhand highway, built at a cost of Rs 14,850 crore and crossing seven districts of Uttar Pradesh. The Prime Minister had laid the foundation stone of the Bundelkhand highway on February 29, 2020. The works of this highway were completed in 28 months. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak were also present in the inaugural program.
The Prime Minister talked about the idea of promoting the tourism industry
During this, the Prime Minister mentioned that there is a lot of potential in the tourism industry in UP including Bundelkhand. The Prime Minister said that while coming to Jalaun he saw the Bundelkhand highway module, he got an idea. The idea was that the forts built along the Bundelkhand highway could be used to promote tourism. Not only Jhansi, there are many such forts which can attract tourists.
The Prime Minister gave the example of Europe for this. He said that there are many countries in Europe where the tourism industry to visit the fort operates. People from all over the world come to see the old fort. After construction of Bundelkhand highway today, he will request from Yogi government that CM also make a big sightseeing tour to see these forts. The Prime Minister said: “Tourists from all over the world should come here and see this power of my Bundelkhand.”
Youth should be raced in the cold season
Along with this, the PM also gave Yogi the idea to compete in the forts. The Prime Minister said: “Not only that, but I will make another request to Yogi ji for you to organize a fort climbing competition for the youths of Uttar Pradesh this time when the winter season starts. Arrangements should be made to climb it by the most difficult route, not the traditional route.
The prime minister said the youngsters should be called out and challenged to see who climbs the fort as quickly as possible. Who climbs the fort? You see, thousands of young people from Uttar Pradesh will come to participate in this competition. Because of that, people will come to Bundelkhand. They will spend money after they get here. This will create enormous sustenance power. A highway creates a lot of opportunities.
