Prison Minister Dharamveer Prajapati Says All Prisoners Celebrate Rakhi 2022 News

Jhansi: This time in the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh, Rakhi (Rakhi 2022) will be bound at the hands of all the prisoners housed in the jail. Prisons Minister Dharamveer Prajapati said instructions have been given to superintendents of prisons across the state, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, sisters who go to jail to tie rakhi, should be allowed to tie the rakhi. The Minister, who arrived in Bundelkhand, interacted with reporters at Jhansi Circuit House. Here he said that women coming to prisons for mixing should not bring one Rakhi on Rakshabandhan but should bring ten to twenty Rakhi. Prisoners remaining in jail also have to tie rakhi on Rakshabandhan. At the same time, prisoners in prison were released in small cases.

The minister said that we told the prison administration that no prisoner should be left without rakhi on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. If some people have the rakhi tied in a barracks, others will be disappointed to have no one in the world. It is our effort that this time all prisoners and prisoners who are in jails across the state, all are rakhi bound.

Many prisoners housed in the state have been released
Minister Dharamveer Prajapati said there were 1,200 pardon applications in the state, of which 700 people were released. At present, 2800 prisoners were housed in small boxes, they have been released. 135 prisoners were housed for lack of a fine, they were released. People were in prison for years for a fine of seven to eight thousand. Poor youth have the largest number of prisoners in state prisons. By communicating directly with them, efforts will be made to connect them with employment through MSMEs. When prisoners get out of prison, they shouldn’t stay unemployed, that’s our effort. The Minister further stated that there are no jails in ten districts of the state. We are building prisons in these ten districts including Lalitpur. Increase the number of barracks in prisons.
