Sunil Saket, Agra: Cabinet Minister Yogendra Upadhyay has clarified instructions to change the name of Shahjahan Park near the Taj Mahal to Geeta Govind Vatika. Changing the name of Shahjahan Park, Cabinet Minister Yogendra Upadhyay released a statement on social media saying that he had offered to change the name to Zonal Park and not Shahjahan Garden. He said it is discussed in the media that he sent a proposal to change the name of Shahjahan Garden, while he had sent a proposal to change the name of Zonal Park in Agra.

Cabinet Minister Yogendra Upadhyay said he recommended renaming the 19-acre zonal park in Tajnagari. He said the zone park is a very large park. It should be developed and realized Geeta Govind Vatika Park. He said it is Brajbhoomi. We are related to Shri Krishna. The park should become a center of cultural awareness. Factories of Krishna Kadam, Kanil etc. should be established. They should make a celestial platform in about one to one and a half celibates where Krishna’s hobbies should be performed.
