UP: Case filed against BJP MLA, son, woman alleges rape and torture – woman alleges rape and torture against bjp mla’s son

Agra, Sep 21 (PTI) Police have registered a case of harassment against a Bharatiya Janata party MP and rape of his son. Police said on Wednesday a case had been filed against the two of them on the complaint of a 36-year-old woman.

According to the FIR filed at Tajganj police station, the woman was allegedly raped by Laxmikant Verma, son of Fatehabad BJP MP Chhotelal Verma, in 2003 when she was just 17 years old.

According to the FIR, the woman was a friend of the MP’s daughter and used to visit her house frequently.

He stated that on November 16, 2003, Laxmikant Verma gave her a drink mixed with intoxicants and when she fell unconscious, he raped her.

According to FIR, the woman claimed Verma filmed the entire incident and threatened dire consequences if she told anyone.

According to the FIR, sometime after the incident, Laxmikant Verma married her at the temple and got a job as a receptionist at an internet cafe in Agra. The cafe belonged to Verma and her friend.

According to FIR, their first child was a girl and Verma wanted a son for her second child, so he aborted her and she eventually gave birth to a son.

According to the FIR, Laxmikant Verma forced the woman into a divorce and married a Rajasthani woman in 2006.

According to FIR, the woman said the BJP MP and his family members are responsible for ruining her life and that of her two children.

Bhupendra Baliyan, Head of Tajganj Police Station, said: “Articles 376 (rape), 313 (abortion), 323 and 328 (injury), 504 (intentional insult), 506 (criminal intimidation) against Laxmikant Verma.) and 494 (large marriage) were registered.
