UP News: Engineers showing slow work will come out of minister who made it clear government is serious about har ghar nal jal project
The minister asked the engineers one by one the questions about the water testing training given to women in the state and about tap hookups. State Minister Ramkesh Nishad, Namami Gange and Principal Secretary of Department of Rural Water Supply Anurag Srivastava, MD of Jal Nigam Balkar Singh were well present in the meeting. Minister of Jal Shakti advised executive engineers to work by doing time management. He said if you keep crying over the problem then the problem will never be solved.
If there is no full connection, there will be FIR against the agency
Under the Jal Jeevan mission, even after the completion of the program in the villages associated with the renovation program, if all the houses are not connected to the tap, an FIR will be filed against the agencies. The department will also file a lawsuit against these agencies. There is also a preparation for a great action against negligent engineers in investigation and action. During Wednesday’s review meeting, Principal Secretary Anurag Srivastava gave the warning while discussing the village linked to the modernization program. He said the village covered by the program should have 100% connection in any case. Tough action will also be taken against engineers who are slow to act against guilty agencies.
