UP News: Fire breaks out in the Advocate General’s office near Allahabad High Court

According to eyewitnesses, at around 6:45 a.m., people called the police after seeing smoke rising from the 7th and 8th floors of the Attorney General’s office. The police who arrived on the scene immediately called the fire department after informing the authorities. The police also controlled the crowd gathered around the building by erecting barricades.

The PAC and RAF team arrived with the fire brigade, due to this being a very large building there was a congregation of administrative and police officers in the office building of the Advocate General of the High Court of Allahabad. PAC and RAF also reached. There are also nearby flyover fire tenders. Efforts are underway to extinguish the fire. The Attorney General’s Office, UP High Court, Allahabad is located near Allahabad High Court. Advocate General Bhawan’s name is Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Bhawan. The office is a multi-storey building made in two parts.
