Bulandshahr: A surprising case has been revealed in Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh. After an 18-month-old child fell ill, the family took him to a tantrik instead of going to the hospital for treatment. Tantrik made such a treatment, because of which the child died. After the death of the child, the parents accused the tantrik of feeding them poisonous substances. The tantrik was arrested in this case. The case concerns the Khurja region of Bulandshahr. Khurja circle officer Dilip Singh said Ajay Singh (40), a resident of Dhakar area, was arrested in connection with the child’s death. The same tantrik would have cured the child. He was also known as a charlatan in tantric circles. Practicing in the area for over a decade.

The family alleges that the tantrik gave the child a poisonous substance. After that, the child began to faint, and his condition began to deteriorate. According to police officials, the child was identified as Anuj, a resident of Bhim settlement. Parents took him to Ajay in sick condition. The child’s uncle, Saurabh Singh, said that Anuj received a liquid from the tantrik. After that, the child began to faint. The child’s jaw clenched. His body turned blue. Ajay forcefully tries to open kid’s mouth. An iron plate was inserted, due to which one of his teeth broke. After that, he was taken to the hospital for treatment. From there he was referred to a larger hospital for better treatment, but the child succumbed to his injuries.

Villagers’ anger erupted after the death

The anger of the villagers erupted after the death of the child. Relatives and villagers gathered at Khurja Nagar police station and demanded strict action against the tantrik. Khurja Nagar Police said that based on a complaint filed by the father of the child, a case has been registered against Tantrik Ajay under Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code (punishment for culpable homicide not constituting not murder). On Friday, he was presented to court and sent to prison. The child’s autopsy is awaited.
