Seeing his spirit, people cheered him on with applause. Dr. Neera Tomar, Principal of Malhu Singh School, seeing the sense of patriotism in the elderly woman, lifted her onto her lap. Even after that, Ramkali didn’t stop and kept rocking on the principal’s lap.

Nowadays, every nook and cranny of the city is bathed in the three colors of the tricolor. The strings of freedom resound from town to town. During the celebration of Independence Day, people celebrate happiness forgetting the distinction of caste, age. Even in the Daurala of Meerut, when an elderly woman heard patriotic songs at the crossroads, she couldn’t help but dance. Ramkali, 80, started shaking with the tricolor in her hand. Other people were surprised to see this spirit of patriotism in the elderly.

In fact, a program was held outside the school on behalf of Malhu Singh Arya Kanya Inter College, Daurala, Meerut as part of the Amrit Independence Festival. In this, patriotism was played on the orator. Simultaneously, the director of the school, the teacher took out the tricolor yatra together. Alongside the teachers, some women from the village also took part.
