New York:

Hundreds of items from late Grammy-winning artist Amy Winehouse, including the dress she wore during her final concert, are going up for auction in the United States.

Auction house Julians will put more than 800 personal effects—including shoes, shorts, bras, books and records—under the hammer on November 6 and 7 in Beverly Hills, California.

They went on to perform in New York on Monday and are expected to receive up to $2 million in total.

The British soul diva died of alcohol poisoning on July 23, 2011, when she was just 27 years old.

“It’s very difficult to auction off when you’re dealing with the parents of your deceased child,” said Martin Nolan, executive director of Julian.

“It took a long time for them to really come on terms and decide to let go, with the realization that, of course, there are fans and museums and collectors around the world who want to own some of these items, take care of them.” Want to show them in museums, keep their legacy and their memory alive and also raise some money for the foundation.”

Proceeds will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which supports vulnerable young adults facing addiction.

Winehouse, who won several awards for her 2006 album “Back to Black”, often spoke about her personal experiences battling alcoholism and drug addiction.

The star, clearly struggling, was booed at her last concert in Belgrade in June 2011.

His tour was canceled and he died a month later.

The short, green and black dress designed by Naomi Parry is expected to sell for between $15,000 and $20,000.

Nolan said, “It’s so iconic. But all of these clothes represent Amy — a brilliant musician, songwriter, but also a fashion icon.”
