Belarusian strongman Alexander Lukashenko said on Thursday that his country would “only” join Russia’s invasion of Ukraine if his country, which hosts Russian forces, was first attacked by Kiev’s forces.
“I am ready to fight with the Russians from the territory of Belarus only in one case: if a soldier from (Ukraine) comes to our territory with a gun to kill my people,” Lukashenko said in a rare press briefing. Conference with foreign journalists in Minsk.
