There has been an uproar on social media after a university in Pakistan asked students about their views on sibling sex. Several celebrities and student organizations have condemned the “obscene content” of the Islamabad-based COMSATS University question paper and demanded that the vice-chancellor and vice-chancellor should be questioned. Screenshots of the question paper are circulating on several social media platforms, including Twitter, which show a “Julie and Mark scenario” and ask students to write an essay after reading the passage. Some questions are also given in the question paper for the students to prepare their answers.

According to the screenshot going viral, the controversial question was given to Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEE) students in December last year.
“Julie and Mark are brother and sister. They are traveling together in France on summer break from college,” reads the question.
“One night they were staying alone in a cabin near the beach. They decided it would be interesting and fun if they tried to make love,” it continues. “At the very least, it will be a new experience for each of them.”
It is then said that Julie was on birth control and Mark used a condom and the two of them enjoyed being intimate together, although they vowed never to do it again.
In the questions that followed, the students were asked their thoughts about the whole scenario and whether it was okay for them to be “in love”. He was also asked to give reasons and “include some relevant examples”.
The teacher who posed the question has been identified as Professor Khair Ul Bashar new york post, The university sacked him after an inquiry and blacklisted him.
A letter from a university official read, “The content of the question paper is highly objectionable and completely against the curriculum laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and creates unrest among the families of the students.”
