Alphabet Inc.’s Google services were backed up after experiencing a brief global disruption late Monday, according to outage tracking website Downdetector.com.
Reports of outages in the United States fell to fewer than 500 incidents, according to DownDetector, which combines status reports from multiple sources.
At the peak of the outage, over 30,000 user reports indicated issues with Google in the United States alone as of 0130 GMT.
About 5,900 users reported problems in Japan, the tracking website said, with disruptions also seen in Canada and Australia.
Google did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
