Norway ‘terrorist attack’ suspect is Norwegian of Iranian origin: police

Two people were killed and 14 were injured in this attack.

Police said on Saturday that the suspect arrested by police after a deadly overnight shooting in Oslo is a Norwegian of Iranian descent.

Police said at a news conference without naming the suspect that the man was known to domestic intelligence services and had ties to the law for minor violations such as knife and drug possession.

Police said they were first investigating the shootout, in which two people were killed and at least 21 were injured.
