Germany’s Ministry of Health said on Friday that delivery of the coronovirus vaccine developed by BioNotech and Pfizer to European Union countries would be delayed in the coming weeks.

“On brief notice, the European Union Commission and, through it, the EU Member States were informed that due to the modifications at the Puzer plant the volume of delivery already promised for the next three to four weeks was fully met Will not be able to meet the requirements, ”the ministry said.

Pfizer said the renovation works were aimed at increasing production capacity from mid-February, according to the ministry.
